Italy Painting Trip

I had a plan in my head for this trip - it was to work only in my sketchbooks wherever I went. I wanted to keep my experiences 'in the momemt' and not worry about finished works of art. Working in these handmade paper books were more portable and allowed me to go simply all over Tuscany and find those special spots that caught my eye. I walked, I ate, I painted , I listened to  the sounds of the city, the birds in the country all punctuated with the sweet sound of the Italian language. Tuscany in the spring overwhelmed me - as I knew it would, and art was but a part of the total experience . I truly loved every moment of  this special trip. I hope you enjoyed following along. --
