2023 RECAP

Fall was so busy with the construction of the new studio space I only now am posting to catch up. It's only days before the New Year and I look forward to everything 2024 has to bring. If you followed my Instagram posts throughout the construction of the studio, you got to see it being built from the ground up. Artists never have enough room it seems, and as a multimedia artist my old studio was becoming too tight and crowded for all the materials it takes to do various work. My new studio is a dedicated space exclusively for painting and drawing, with improved lighting and easy access to my home. I can already see improvement in my colors with the new lighting and the fabulous gallery wall allows me to paint ANY size canvas, large or small. I can breathe again!

I'll be printing in my old studio, as well as collage, assemblage and jewelry making after a very big purge and reorganization - never fun, always time consuming and time away from actually making art, but necessary for me anyway. I cannot work in clutter and chaos.

This coming year I look forward to painting in my new studio, continued travels with artists, plein air painting and new adventures to keep me creatively inspired.

Thank you to all my patrons, friends and family for bringing my art into your lives and homes- it's truly an honor.

Happy New Year to all, and let us all hope for peace in the coming year.
